Meet my favorite Workout App: Aaptiv
I've been using Aaptiv for my own workouts for a while. Aaptiv is different from other workout apps - it's an audio fitness app. There aren't any videos you have to watch or follow along with! No more propping up the phone, squinting to see the screen. You simply follow the audible guides on the workout as you go! It's super easy! You choose your workout, click start and the music begins. Your trainer starts walking you through your workout, guiding you to each next step/move. The trainers are also very motivating. It's like they're working out right beside you - your own personal trainer!
Aaptiv has over 2,500 guided workouts. They add more than 40 new workouts each week. There's even structured programs you can follow as well as a community group for accountability/support.
Aaptiv includes the following workout categories: treadmill, outdoor running, elliptical, stair climber, strength training, indoor cycling, yoga, meditation, and stretching. The workouts range from 5 minutes to 1 hour. Additionally, each strength training workout has a section called "moves you'll do" with pictures showing you exactly what each move is. The trainer also does a top notch job walking you through the move, as you begin, to make sure you execute it correctly.
You can try Aaptiv on a free trial and then convert to a monthly or yearly subscription. I highly recommend it! You will not be disappointed!
