How I'm changing:
What I'm eating: We were on our Babymoon this week to the Candian Rockies!! My eats were a lot heavier and fattier than normal. We ate out 2 of the 3 meals each day for 3 days and then ate in all 3 meals for the last few days of our week long vacation. I ate my regular oatmeal and English muffin with pb for breakfast. Snacks were trail mix, Cliff bars, granola bars. Lunch and dinners were sandwiches, chicken, steak, salads. I had bacon a LOT and fried chicken several times. :)
What I'm NOT eating: BBQ and really strong onion flavored things
How I'm feeling: We had an amazing time on our trip! The first 3 days we stayed in Canmore, Alberta where we drove the 30 min-1 hour drive into Banff National Park. Once inside, we went to several famous must-sees. Ben planned the whole trip out and knew my limitations being pregnant (I couldn't do long hikes) so we drove to a lot of stuff. But, there was still several times I had to walk a nice little trek and it WORE ME OUT. Plus, my sciatic nerve started acting up on the plane ride so that bothered me from time to time. Grr. I had a lot of nausea but I think it was just because I was in a lot of moving automobiles - plane, car, etc. I got wiped out and tired QUICK because we were doing so much. The 2nd half of the trip we stayed at a cabin in the middle of nowhere in Golden, British Columbia and it was perfection in a cabin. I rested those 3 days while Ben explored the mountains around us.
How my workouts are: Of my adventure days: The first day, I walked 15,000 steps and a total of 6+ miles. The second day, it was 10,000 steps. The third day, I think I remember being less because we drove a LOT that day.
Thoughts this week: Pretty shocked at how much bigger my stomach is this go around. Plus, I already have some of the aches and pains that I didn't get until half way or more with Landon. My lower back already hurts, my headaches are worse (I have one about every day now) and my nausea is still full force. Kind of discouraged about that. I was so hoping to get some relief from it!!! Still exhausted - napping and getting in bed way early (9:00 most nights). I loved getting to sleep a LOT in Canada. :) So thankful and blessed to have this baby growing inside of me, but it's WAY different this time around!!!
Highlights this week: Our whole trip!!!
