Landon turned 1 and quickly became a TODDLER in all sense of the word. He's a handful, he's hilarious, he's sweet, he's stubborn, he's amazing. It was such a fun year watching him grow into this little person. I'm so happy I'm his Momma.
I turned 30 this year! Insane. I swear I feel like I'm still 22. I celebrated my entire birthday month. I had so many different fun things planned it became a running joke with me and Ben. I had a great time turning 30! We even raised $100 in giftcards for local sex trafficking survivors as part of my birthday! And, I did 30 random acts of kindness to help make turning 30 fun (and not so depressing)!
Ben and I celebrated 10 years of marriage! That's crazy too because we feel like we should still be those 20 something kids that we were on our wedding day! This past year was the toughest on our marriage. Satan really worked on us both and knocked us down a lot. But we clung to each other, to Jesus, and God brought a lot of redemption which made the year very rewarding. I love watching Ben with Landon and I loved getting to watch them form a really sweet and unique bond this year. It's safe to say Ben is Landon's favorite person on most days. (and I love that) We started making monthly date nights a priority. We took trips - NYC, Aruba, Caribbean Cruise. We learned that we have to fight a little harder for things than we have in years past and we have to prioritize each other more than ever. But we still are each other's favorite person and still think each other is the hottest person on the planet. I love being married to Ben and am so thankful God chose me to be his wife!
I started Shape Her this year! Wow. Who knew this would be what it is now. I'm still in awe. I'm just so humbled and floored at all God is doing. I'm so thankful for social media and the network of women I've come to know! I can't wait to see what God has in store for Shape Her in 2015!
I made new friends. God has blessed me with an amazing core group of friends and I loved adding several new friends to that core group this year. There's nothing more special than living life with other women who are right in the trenches with you! On that same note, I started back my College Aged Women's small group and received blessings upon blessings in doing life with those young ladies. I love living life with other women - young and old!
I'm a big resolution person. I always have been. I love writing them out and going back on them to see how I did. Resolutions have been very powerful for me in years past - I started reading books one year (I hated to read for such a long time), and I started to memorize scripture another year....all because of resolutions.
This year's Personal resolutions/goals:
- Read the Bible through (I started this last year and dropped the ball)
- Memorize at least 2 Bible verses a month (I'm doing the plan on Beth Moore's blog...I do it every time and LOVE it)
- Complete my daily house chore (I've let this slack)
- Read more books (take 2 nights a week to just read)
- Journal each night (I journal Landon's happenings at the end of each day but have let this slack)
- Run and Swim more
Shape Her Goals:
- Grow Shape Her by adding Coaches
- Complete and pass by Personal Training Certification
- Start a local Bootcamp class
- Grow my Personal Training Clients
- Offer more focused Groups
