How is baby developing this week? Joints are forming
How I'm changing: Starting to process adding a 2nd child to the family. How it'll change our family dynamic. Really praying through my fears and worries surrounding that as well as my c-section and recovery.
What I'm eating: Oatmeal with english muffin for breakfast, sandwich and salads for lunch (or chips), lots of clementines, apples, yogurt. Dinners are the usual too.
What I'm NOT eating: Same culprits: BBQ and really strong onion flavor
How I'm feeling: Headaches have been minimal (yay!) and energy is slowly coming back a little. Woohoo! I did start getting a yucky head cold this week though. Boo!
How my workouts are: Just some walks outside until I started feeling yucky.
Thoughts this week: WE HAVE MOVEMENT!!! At 16 weeks, 1 day I felt the baby "thump". It felt just like Landon did - like a little "pop" in my lower abdomen. I felt it while I was laying in bed, on my back. That same night, I also felt it with my hand. I didn't feel it with my hand for another week or so with Landon, so I was so excited!! I also saw it popping and thumping around this week too.
Highlights this week: Hands down, feeling the baby move!
Bump details: Feeling heavy!!
Facts this week:
- I started taking (doctor approved) Tylenol Sinus and Robitussin DM cough syrup to help with my cold. I also mixed Peppermint oil with olive oil and rubbed it on my face/sinuses and chest. It was heaven!
