How far along? 27 weeks
How big is Allie? Measures about 14.5 inches long, about 2 lbs.
How is Allie developing this week? Brain activity is developing and she has developed a regular wake and sleep routine.
How I'm changing: Starting to think more about it not just being me and Landon during the day. Starting to work through that.
What I'm eating: I started getting a LOT of indigestion this week. So bad that it keeps me up at night sometimes. I've started watching what I eat (no really gassy and spicy foods) as well as eating more smaller meals so I'm not miserably full - which happens really quick with this big belly. I started taking Mylanta too, to help some. I've also had to prop my upper body up on pillows to go to sleep (which is super uncomfortable) because it helps keep that feeling of "all this gas/food/acid is about to come up" at bay. (lovely, I know)
What I'm NOT eating: Really gassy, spicy, and fatty foods. Also back to no sweets. I'd had a few over the last several weeks and I've got to get back to my zero tolerance policy. :)
How I'm feeling: My nausea is better THANK YOU JESUS! I quit wearing my sea bands and I'm down to taking just 1 Diclegis pill at bed. I still can't scroll on my phone too long or it makes me sick, but I'm thankful to be feeling less nauseous!
How my workouts are: I did a 10 minute workout with just some body weight exercises the other day. It felt ok. I'm praying I'll get back to being able to do more, or at the very least walk!
Highlights this week: Feeling a bit of relief with the nausea.
Bump details: Growing and itching! She's keeping me up several nights because she's having a dance party in my belly. Not cool.
Facts this week:
- We ordered a new Glider that we'll probably put in Landon's room and move his (with the ottoman) to Allie's room.
- The invites were sent out for my first sprinkle. Yay!
- I read "And Baby Makes Four" which had some helpful tips about becoming a family of 4.
