God laid this on my heart several months ago and I'm ready to roll it out!
Every Monday morning I'll be posting that week's weekly truth. It might take different shapes and forms, but it will always incorporate TRUTH: Scripture from God's word. It might have several paragraphs worth of a devotion written by me, and it might be something I found somewhere else and wanted to share with you. I'm leaving it all up to the Lord and asking for Him to guide me each week what He wants me to share with you!
If you ever have any topics or things you'd like me to cover, I'd love to know! I want this to be edifying for YOU and bring YOU closer to God!
So let's get started on this week's Weekly Truth:
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." Romans 12:9
What do you love most in the world?
Where does Jesus fall on your list?
Where do others fall on your list?
If Jesus isn't #1, why? Spend some time working through that today.
Do you love people well?
Paul tells us in Romans 12:9 that love MUST be sincere. It does no good when it isn't. If you've surrendered your life to Jesus, you are called to share His love with others. You have to be sincere in that love so change takes place.
God's really been challenging me on this lately. Am I loving people well? Am I sincere in my love for others? Do I love certain people well but not others? Who has God put in my life to show His love to?
Spend some time talking to God about how you love people. Ask Him to give you the strength, courage and passion to love people like He does. To be sincere. To see people through His eyes.
